Server rules
Play fair. Stay in character.
These rules protect the city's vibe. Read them once carefully — then treat them as the floor, not a checklist to game.
Most important
Respect the table
No harassment, hate speech, doxxing, or targeted abuse. Disagreements stay civil — staff will step in when they don’t.
No metagaming
Information your character didn’t earn in-world stays out of scenes. Discord chatter, streams, and OOC knowledge are not free intel.
No powergaming
Don’t force outcomes, skip consent on major actions, or narrate other people’s characters. Leave room for reaction and refusal.
Stay in character in public
Public spaces and active scenes are IC by default. Take OOC breaks to Discord or private channels when you need them.
Follow staff direction
If staff pause a scene or ask for clarification, stop and cooperate. Arguing IC decisions mid-scene usually makes things worse.
No fail RP
Keep actions, dialogue, and reactions believable for the setting. Joke characters and meme behavior that break immersion belong offline.
Emotes & /me
Use emotes to support the scene — not to invent impossible facts, force outcomes, or skip consent.
No combat logging
Leaving the server to avoid an active scene, arrest, or consequence is forbidden. If you disconnect by accident, rejoin and resume as soon as you can.
Report privately
Open a ticket with evidence instead of calling people out in public channels while staff review the case.
Character development
Build someone with goals, flaws, and room to lose. Long-term stories beat invincible concepts.
Ties & history
Coordinate shared backstories with the other players involved so staff and scene partners aren’t blindsided.
Growth over time
Let consequences change your character. Resetting personality after every loss is fail RP.
Roleplay quality
Value of life
Your character fears injury, loss, and consequences. Don’t treat death, guns, or hostage situations like a video-game respawn loop.
Fear RP & consequences
Armed threats, numbers, and credible danger should change your behavior. Winning every scene isn’t the goal — storytelling is.
New life rule
After a character death approved by staff, prior memories of that death and its circumstances do not carry into the new life unless staff say otherwise.
Scene quality
Give other players room to react. Don’t rush major outcomes or treat every encounter as a checklist.
Crime & combat
Initiation required
Hostile actions need clear initiation and a chance to respond. Random deathmatches and surprise executions without scene are not allowed.
No revenge RDM
Losing a scene doesn’t unlock free kills later. Escalation needs IC motive, pacing, and room for other players to engage.
Robbery limits
Follow staff guidance on what can be taken, how long scenes may last, and when to break for server stability. Don’t trap players in endless holds.
Hostage care
Hostages remain players in a scene — communicate clearly, don’t idle-lock them for long stretches, and end holds when the story beats are done.
Safe zones
Hospitals, major government buildings, and marked safe areas are off-limits for crime unless an event or staff exception says otherwise.
Technical & exploits
No cheats or exploits
Menus, macros that automate gameplay, dumpers, and bug abuse are ban-level offenses. Report exploits instead of using them.
Approved mods only
Graphics and QoL mods are fine when they don’t alter hitboxes, visibility unfairly, or give mechanical advantage. Ask staff if unsure.
Account & identity
One primary account per player unless staff approve otherwise. Sharing accounts or evading punishments will be treated as the original offense plus evasion.
